R-E-T-R-O Spective

TIPS & TRICKS
(of the time)

Ever wanted to look like you
walked right
 out of the 40's?
I sure do! I have come up with a
list of things that are signature items of that
era to create that
stunning look.

1. Cat Eyeliner
Eyeliner was such a beautiful
thing back then.
It was very artistic and made the
eye look elegant and large.
Wish it would come back!

2. Red Lipstick
Red lips and white teeth...stunning!
There are very few people
who can pull this
look off even now a days, but
when it's done right it's gorgeous!

3. Voluptuous Curls
The big curls, finger waves and the
elegant pin ups...please
come back! This world lacks
femininity sometimes when it
comes to hair styles.
In those days you would
never see woman with
wild colored hair. haha
Where's the elegance?

4. Pearls
In my mind pearls are as classy
as they come!
Who needs diamonds
when they could frost themselves
in pearls?
Pearls are an absolute must!!!

5. Lace
There is really nothing bad to
say about lace!
Lace is one of the
most BEAUTIFUL things
created! Lace never looks trashy
or cheep.

6. Classy Black
Whoever turned black into
a goth symbol should be
severely punished!
Black is such a classy color.
Black looks good
on everyone!

7. Retro Glasses
What ever happened to
the concept of accenting
the eye? Glasses now a days make
the eye look small and
 aren't eye-catching.
Someone bring these
back!

8. Floppy Sun Hat
Who wouldn't want
to bask in the sun next
to the pool in a big floppy sun hat
sipping strawberry lemonade?
Sounds like a picture perfect
moment actually!

9. Cars
ok...why did these classic
cars die?! I want one so bad!
I am selling my Mazda for one of these
sexy one of a kind cars!

10. Romance...a dying genere
Love went from classy
 to trashy!
What happened to modesty
and the idea of sweet romance?
Now a days everything is out
in the open. Love seems so
lustful and in the moment.
What happened to life long commitment
that had it's ups and downs?
Did parents just stop teaching
that if something breaks, you fix it
not throw it away?
