"It is the Memory that Enables a Person to Gather Roses in January."

Last night I was thinking back to last January and what I was doing. I have come a long way since last year! I had a wonderful memory though that brought a smile back to my face. I tried something crazy and out of my comfort zone...I posed for an ice cream shoot at Farr's Ice Cream in Ogden. It was so much fun! Elisha Braithwaite is a wonderful photographer, with very creative imagination. It was a pleasure working with her several times over the past year!

So many of you are probably thinking..."Ice Cream, in January?" Yes, Ice Cream in January it was! It was freezing but so worth it! I was set in a 1950's dress and hair style made for June weather! We ordered ice cream and just went with the flow.

"Memory is a way of holding onto the things you love, the things you are, the things you never want to lose."  ~From the television show The Wonder Years

I hope you all enjoy this memory with me, and want to eat a big cone of mint chocolate ice cream! :)

I love the reflecting lens on this shot! It really shows the seriousness of the moment!~
Fresh Fudge anyone? My attempt to wink. haha
